C.H. Robinson Q3 Earnings Top Estimates on Pricing and Lean AI Gains
C.H. Robinson (CHRW) beat Q3 2026 consensus estimates, posting earnings of $1.80 per share, up 28.6%, on revenue of $5.36 billion, up 29.5%. The company also held its 2026 profit guidance steady.
Management attributed the results to three drivers: higher freight pricing, AI productivity gains, and market share growth. That mix matters. Pricing power lifted the top line, while productivity gains suggest CHRW converted that revenue into earnings at a faster clip than it grew sales. Earnings rose 28.6% against revenue growth of 29.5%, so profit growth roughly matched sales growth. That is interpretation, not a stated margin figure.
One blemish: operating cash flow declined on unfavorable working capital changes. Strong earnings paired with weaker cash generation is a divergence traders should not ignore.
The deal is the larger story. CHRW expects $300 million in annual synergies from its proposed $5.8 billion RXO acquisition. Maintained guidance, rather than a raise, leaves the market to price the combination on execution rather than a fresh earnings upgrade.
