IVDA Stock Declines 43.4% as Q2 Loss Widens, Revenues Fall Y/Y
IVDA shares dropped 43.4% following second-quarter 2026 results that showed revenue of $801,846, down 48% year-over-year. Equipment sales fell 50%, driving the top-line miss. The net loss widened 41% to $793,469 as the company continued to burn cash operationally.
Gross margin told a different story, expanding to 55% from 29% in the prior-year period. The company attributed the improvement to a favorable sales mix and lower cost of revenues, though the operational cash burn persists.
Customer concentration remains a critical risk. Three clients accounted for 72% of total revenues in the quarter, leaving IVDA vulnerable to any single contract delay or cancellation. Management blamed the revenue decline on delivery timing related to long-term government contracts rather than underlying demand erosion, but the extended sales cycle increases near-term visibility risk.
The 48% revenue collapse combined with a widening loss and heavy reliance on a narrow customer base leaves IVDA in a fragile liquidity position until contract deliveries materialize.
