Jensen Huang Just Signed 7 Japanese Industrial Giants Into Nvidia's Physical AI Coalition. Here's Why $1 Trillion in Confirmed Demand Should Matter to Investors.
Jensen Huang has signed seven Japanese industrial giants—Fujitsu (FANUY), FANUC, Yaskawa Electric (YASKY), Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Hitachi (HTHIY), NEC, and SoftBank (SFTBY)—into NVDA's Physical AI Coalition, securing what amounts to $1 trillion in confirmed demand. The commitments center on Japan's national AI infrastructure strategy, anchored by a sovereign AI factory deploying 13,750 Vera CPUs and 27,500 Rubin GPUs.
These are multiyear, infrastructure-level deals that position NVDA's hardware and software stack as the default platform for Japan's robotics and manufacturing sectors. Unlike typical enterprise sales cycles, sovereign AI projects tie procurement to national industrial policy, reducing the risk of competitive displacement and extending revenue visibility.
The coalition partners represent core pillars of Japanese manufacturing—FANUC in factory automation, YASKY in motion control and robotics, HTHIY in industrial systems, and SFTBY as the lead integrator. FANUY brings systems integration across government and enterprise. The Vera-Rubin deployment marks one of the largest confirmed GPU commitments tied to physical AI, a category NVDA is actively separating from general-purpose inference workloads.
