Salesforce Expands AI Bundles: Will Higher Adoption Boost ARR?
Salesforce (CRM) is pushing deeper into AI bundling, and the revenue numbers show where the momentum sits. Agentforce ARR hit $1.5 billion in Q2, up 240% year over year. Combined Agentforce and Data 360 ARR reached $3.9 billion.
The company is expanding bundles that pair Agentforce, Slack, and Data 360, aiming to lift customer adoption and recurring revenue. The strategy packages AI products with existing platform tools rather than selling them standalone.
The gap between AI growth and the overall business is the key tension. Total revenue growth sits at just 11% year over year. Interpretation: the 240% Agentforce surge comes off a small base relative to the whole company, so the AI line has not yet moved the aggregate growth rate meaningfully. Bundling is presumably designed to close that gap, but the 11% figure shows it has not happened yet.
Competition adds pressure. Microsoft (MSFT) and Oracle (ORCL) are pursuing similar bundled AI strategies in enterprise software. Interpretation: when rivals pitch comparable packages, pricing power and win rates become the variables that decide whether Salesforce's ARR gains translate into faster top-line growth.
