TTM Technologies: 3 Key Takeaways for Long-Term Investors

TTMI posted record Q3 2026 revenue of $1.2 billion, with adjusted EBITDA margin reaching 20.1%, and paired the print with forward guidance that frames the next leg of the story: $6.5-6.75 billion in net sales for 2027.

The company is committing $400 million to capacity expansion aimed at AI data center demand. That spending signals management expects the demand to persist, and the 2027 sales range gives investors a concrete number against which to test that expectation.

On the defense side, TTMI is acquiring Epiq Solutions and MKS Inc.'s Ophir division to strengthen its aerospace and defense capabilities. Management cited a $2 billion defense backlog supporting its outlook. Interpretation: the backlog gives the guidance a contracted foundation on the defense side, while the AI data center build-out carries more of the growth risk.

The setup combines three elements: a record quarter, a margin of 20.1% that sets the profitability bar, and heavy near-term capital outlay. Execution on the $400 million expansion and on integrating two acquisitions will determine whether the 2027 range holds.
