Weyco (WEYS) Q3 2026 Earnings Call Transcript
Weyco (WEYS) posted Q3 2026 net sales of $77 million, up 5% year over year, with gross margin expanding to 49.7% on a $3.3 million tariff refund. That refund is a one-time lift, so the margin print overstates the underlying run rate.
Brand performance was broad. Florsheim set a record in wholesale sales, up 9%. Stacy Adams also grew 9%, and BOGS rose 6%. All three brands contributed to the top-line gain, so growth did not hinge on a single label.
The balance sheet stands out: $95.2 million in cash and no debt. Weyco declared a special $2 per share dividend on top of its regular quarterly dividends, a direct cash return that puts the cash position to work for shareholders.
Management tempered the quarter with a warning. It flagged potential margin pressure from supply chain inflation and unpredictable trade policies. Interpretation: because the tariff refund inflated this quarter's gross margin, any reversal in trade policy or a rise in supply costs could compress margins from the 49.7% level.
