Why Did Eos Energy Stock Jump Today?
Eos Energy Enterprises (EOSE) jumped approximately 10% after the battery energy storage company announced preliminary second-quarter results showing record revenue between $68 million and $69 million. The company also reported a record backlog of $807 million.
The surge follows a strong first-half performance in which Eos Energy's revenue through June 2025 already exceeded its entire 2024 annual revenue total. The company attributed the momentum to expanded production capacity, with Battery Line 2 now in commercial operation.
Eos Energy also disclosed a partnership with Cerberus to establish Frontier Power USA, marking a strategic move to scale its manufacturing and deployment capabilities in the energy storage sector.
The preliminary Q2 figures signal accelerating demand for the company's zinc-based battery technology as utility-scale energy storage adoption continues to grow across North America.
