Why Shares of Lindblad Expeditions Are Rocketing Higher Today
Lindblad Expeditions (LIND) jumped 11.4% after second-quarter 2026 earnings crushed expectations. The expedition cruise operator posted revenue of $199.2 million, beating the $185.9 million consensus, while narrowing its net loss to $0.02 per share versus the anticipated $0.11 loss.
Management raised full-year 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $830 million to $850 million, up from the prior $800 million to $830 million outlook. The company reported record net yield of $1,294 and achieved 91% occupancy during the quarter, signaling strong pricing power and demand for its high-end expedition cruises.
Despite the operational strength, valuation has become stretched. LIND now trades at 247 times forward earnings and sits at its 52-week high following the post-earnings surge. The Motley Fool analyst covering the results cautioned that current multiples present elevated risk for new entrants at these levels.
