NTSK - Netskope, Inc.
SNF Emerging Watchlist(TM) tracks newly public companies positioned around emerging economic themes. Inclusion reflects SNF research interest and ongoing monitoring; it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold a security.
Netskope is building meaningful enterprise scale at the intersection of cloud security, networking, data protection and AI adoption. Fiscal Q2 2027 strengthened the thesis through 27% ARR growth, 29% revenue growth, expanding gross margins and improving non-GAAP operating leverage. The remaining test is whether that growth can translate into durable free cash flow and narrower GAAP losses.
The September 2 earnings catalyst resolved positively. ARR reached $899M, revenue increased 29% to $220.5M and results exceeded guidance across every reported metric. GAAP gross margin improved to 74%, non-GAAP operating margin narrowed to negative 9% from negative 20%, and management raised its full-year outlook.
Netskope is demonstrating that its SASE and data-security platform can sustain high growth at meaningful scale while improving underlying operating efficiency. The combination of nearly $900M in ARR, enterprise adoption and approximately $1.1B in liquidity strengthens the commercial and financial foundation of the thesis, even though consistent profitability has not yet been established.
Market Confirmation remains supportive but secondary at 66/100. NTSK has limited public-market history, and SNF does not award Emerging Score points for post-IPO price performance. The more important confirmation is whether operating results continue validating the growth and profitability trajectory.
Sustained ARR growth above 20%, recurring positive free cash flow, continued gross-margin strength and further narrowing of GAAP operating losses would strengthen the thesis. Material growth deceleration, weaker retention, rising sales inefficiency, margin compression or delayed cash-flow conversion would weaken it.
